Hugging Happy.

I wrote this when I was, like, 15. Tagged as Interesting Things.

Have you ever noticed that people put their heads to the left when they hug? Megs and I tested this theory one time and it worked—even with me telling her I would put my head to the right. Ah, it’s nice when things work.

Why don’t you find a friend to test my theory with? I'm sure it’ll brighten up your day!

What have I been up to? I made PlayThinker, a brainstorming tool for game developers, available for sale. It is my first commercial venture! I shared how I use Play-Doh to make custom mountings and holders. I made a list of Android apps for science students, with QR codes for quick deployment. I uploaded reference photos of simple shapes for practicing tonal drawing. I shared my favourite butter shortbread recipe.

Things I'm super proud of I made a rapid note-taking tool called Scratchpad. I also made an automation program called Instant Text Automator.

I made a Random Noun Generator, an auto-linking wiki called Ligature, a manuscript display tool called txt.page, and a CMS called Writer's Block that is running this site right now.

I also made a puzzle game called Additive for Ludum Dare 24.

I do other things too I make video games under the name Cowface Games. I used to author a single-panel webcomic called Gradually, But With Love.
