Web comics

Did I ever tell you that I read web comics? Here are my favourites, in no particular order:

  • The Order of the Stick is based around the Dungeons and Dragons roleplaying game rules. It’s great fun if you’ve ever tried playing a game that centered on die rolls.
  • Dinosaur Comics involves three dinosaurs talking. Even though the standard comics use the exact same frames and layout for each comic, the variety in subject matter is amazing.
  • The Spider Cliff Mysteries is an interactive comic strip. The concept is hard to explain, so the best way to describe Spider Cliff is “a text adventure baked with a frosting of point-and-click.” Be sure to create an account because once you get enough clues from reading enough chapters you’ll be able to trade your points for free gifts. I’m getting the bookmarks, man.

I hope that put you on the road to Internet-based happiness. They’re all great works.

I am still needy in regards to hitching a ride to the formal. My mom works night-shift, my dad doesn’t drive and my car is hopelessly broken, if that means anything to people with spare car space.
A new feature for Writer’s Block v3․3: Mini-Blogs that are independent of this main blog. Yes. Also, v3․3’s commenting system can remember your commenting details so you don’t have to fill out the Name/Email/URL fields anymore. But this site isn’t on v3․3 yet.

That's all there is, there isn't any more.
