“And they don’t know yet?”

“We can’t expect them to.”

“When should we tell them?”

“Tell — ”

“That they’re not doing the right thing.”

“I think they already know. But they’re like, they’re like trains, they wreck if they go off the track.”

“They don’t make the right decisions. They go for the wrong goals. We should change them.”

“Let them think for themselves?”

“Yeah. Independent intelligence. Free will. Totally adaptive.”

“Would it work any better in them than it did in us?”
