Valentine's Day.

This afternoon while walking to West Ryde station from TAFE I noticed a series of plastic poster boards fastened to electricity poles along the road. With one word on each board, the message read, “I – love – you – Jared”.

How wonderful that a girl would go through so much trouble for her man. It makes sense that it shouldn’t be the man’s responsibility to plan all the romantic things.

Meanwhile I notice that I’ve been single every Valentine’s Day so far. I have lots of lady friends I could ask on a date, but I suspect that I would have a better chance if I hadn’t called them cutie and good-lookin’ during the last two years of high school. Respect!
