It’s hard to get back into it, though, because it’s been so long that my code looks alien to me, and because other websites are trying to drive me nuts. For instance, I went to Google’s first result so I could find the current Unix timestamp (which is given as the number of seconds since the 1st of January, 1970). I used the website to get today’s and yesterday’s timestamps, and then subtracted one from the other to find the total time elapsed. I thought I was going mad, because the website told me that more than twenty and a half million seconds had elapsed between yesterday and today.
I was all, “Woah. I’m never going to that site again.”
Most of v3․8 focuses on spam prevention, and involves tinkering with the code for comments and comment handling. Expect some problems.
