A harbor scene, carved in relief in plaster of Paris

This is a relief carving inspired by a line drawing by Karla Gerard, and which was given as a birthday present to a friend.

Plaster of Paris was poured into a plastic cheese mold, then carved while damp with linoleum chisels. The piece was painted with watercolors while unsealed, then protected with many coats of glossy Estapol spray lacquer. The stand is bent from thick stainless steel wire, which hardens as you bend it.

That's all there is, there isn't any more.
