Text-Only Friendly?

I have made every effort to render this site as text-only friendly as possible because I understand that many people like to surf the net with graphics turned off. I have also noticed that some die-hards are still accessing the site with a text-only browser like Lynx, which is really cool in a geeky way.

The site used to have two Javascript components: a pull-down menu for navigation and hotspots that you could click to show information about an article. They have been removed because Lynx doesn't support Javascript (and because people didn’t even notice that you could click on the hotspots).

The standard template uses only two images, with a total size of 4․02 KBs. Having a site that isn’t image intensive also reduces the overall size of the site and helps everything go down the pipe quicker.
